Mr. Richards brings to your facility a wide variety of knowledge with focused experience in the area of marketing, sales and business management. Mr. Richards began his entrepreneurial career in 1979 as a professional trainer for a newly developed personal enhancement program originating at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.

Over the next fifteen years Mr. Richards, owned and operated three more training centers in Utah valley, implementing his acquired specialized skills, principles and mind-sets as they related to the area of personal and professional enhancement concepts’ and strategies.

From 1979 to 1994, Mr. Richards continued to successfully offer his specialized, educational and motivational training programs to many thousands of individuals on a national level via personal one-on-one instruction, workshops, community education programs, youth, civic and church groups as well as local school districts. While teaching, Mr. Richards placed a heavy emphasis on prioritizing, goal setting and achieving, taking action, follow-up and follow-through, adaptation and utilization, achieving continual, positive and measurable results by maintaining a clearly focused objective of specifically desired outcomes.

In 1994 Mr. Richards sold his training centers, spending the next five years working in sales, consulting and marketing for such companies as iMall, Galaxy Mall, Internet Development Inc., and Peter Lowe International.  It was here where he fine-tuned his professional skills working extensively in training, coaching and sales on a national basis, and assisting other entrepreneurial-minded individuals with the “how-to’s” of obtaining better results in their own personal and professional lives.

He has marketed and sold personal development training programs for Peter Lowe International Seminars, Inc., and internationally acclaimed Denis Waitley, with course tuition prices in the three thousand dollar range.

Mr. Richards has extensively studied marketing, sales and behavior modification for personal life enhancement. He has consistently and successfully developed sales & marketing systems that have generated as much as fifty-thousand dollars to one-hundred eighty-thousand dollars per sale- all through direct-response marketing.

From 1999 to date, Mr. Richards has instructed a wide variety of individuals including CEOs, entrepreneurs and professionals providing personal and financial success strategies through more than fifty thousand one-on-one training sessions on a national basis.

In 2004, he turned his attention to the chiropractic marketing arena.  Over the course of just 3 years, he has met, studied with, and interviewed over 1000 top-earning DCs. He turned that experience into Evolocity, Inc., the industry’s only completely integrated custom and turnkey marketing program for chiropractors, focusing on internal, external, and internet marketing strategies.

Mr. Richards was born in Provo Utah, is married with seven children and currently resides in Saratoga Springs, Utah.



Bruce Ackerman is a marketing communications professional with nearly 20 years of broad-based experience selling everything from genealogical products to computer software and training, art, entertainment, and Internet services. Bruce's strength is his diversity. As a business owner, salesman and sales executive, copywriter, creative director, media producer, speaker/trainer, and even actor, Bruce has played the marketing game from every angle and helped rack up millions in sales for his clients and employers. Because of his insistence on measurable results in all of his marketing efforts, Bruce has naturally gravitated to the field of direct response marketing.

Since joining EVOLOCITY,
Bruce has focused much of his energy and talent developing patient-winning advertising, internal promotions, and especially hands-off internet marketing programs.  He is a firm believer in applying solid direct-selling principles to all marketing communications and by holding advertising accountable to the bottom line. He lives by the adage: “It ain’t creative unless it sells!”

  • Conceived and implemented PRODUCT WATCH, a direct response email newsletter that was the primary force behind a six-fold increase in sales of genealogical supplies at the Ancestry.com Online Store within a 12-month period. Six years later, the publication is still a major driver of online product sales for the company.

  • Repositioned a long distance reseller from just another cut-rate service provider to the single source of FREE LONG DISATANCE by deemphasizing rates and focusing on the company’s ultimate selling advantage in all major marketing communications. This single move set the stage for a new wave of accelerated growth.

  • As Cybermall Marketing & Creative Director, spearheaded the creation of the award-winning Best of the Wild West CyberMall on the Internet, building the population of the mall to over 200 businesses in less than 6 months and developing Web traffic to nearly one million “hits” per month with virtually no budget.

  • As Creative Director, played a key role in propelling Infobases International, producer of religious and educational software, from sales of about $40K/mo. to over $120,000/mo. in a 6 month period using direct mail and direct response media advertising.

  • Proved the power of direct mail by creating a mailing to a company's house list that yielded a response rate of over 19%.

  • Taught MAVERICK MARKETING ADVENTURE WORKSHOPS (1-3 day direct response marketing events) all over the country and coached small business owners and executives in effective direct marketing methods.
  • Has written numerous articles on advertising and direct marketing techniques for a national marketing newsletter.

  • Increased ticket sales to a professional SLC summer theatre by 25% over the previous season with a 25% reduction in advertising expense through extensive use of PR and cooperative advertising
